360° Dome

Our next challenge was to create an educational, fully animated film about the solar system, commissioned by the Bank of Georgia. On June 1st, International Children’s Day, a dome-shaped theater was installed on the grounds of East Point Shopping Mall, allowing us to deliver a completely immersive experience .

Unlike traditional cinemas, this setup surrounded the audience entirely with visuals. To achieve this, we used the software Touchdesigner, which enabled us to render the visuals in real-time in a full 360° format.

This was the first time a 3D animated film specifically made for a dome-format theater of this kind was produced entirely in Georgia.
