Our next challenge was to create an educational, fully animated film about the solar system, commissioned by the Bank of Georgia. On June 1st, International Children’s Day, a dome-shaped theater was installed on the grounds of East Point Shopping Mall, allowing us to deliver a completely immersive experience.
Unlike traditional cinemas, this setup surrounded the audience entirely with visuals. To achieve this, we used the software Touchdesigner, which enabled us to render the visuals in real-time in a full 360° format.
This was the first time a 3D animated film specifically made for a dome-format theater of this kind was produced entirely in Georgia.
