In the summer, it was announced that the city hall would not renew its contract with the successful social cafe Mziuri and planned to auction off the building. As a company with a strong sense of social responsibility, we felt it was our duty to share the story of cafe Mziuri in a unique and meaningful way. To do this, we reached out to the cafe’s founder, Ana Goguadze.
First, we conducted an in-depth research of the cafe’s history, selected relevant archival materials, developed the concept for an audio-visual show, and decided to let the building itself become the narrator—to have the cafe tell its own story.
To achieve this, we fully scanned the structure, created a 3D-generated model, and wrote a narrative script. We then set up a projection screen across one side of the building’s facade and mapped visuals onto the entire structure. The result was a talking cafe—one that told its own story directly to the public.
