We, like a significant part of Georgian society, stand firmly in the fight for our country’s European future and have no intention of taking a single step back. Like everyone involved in this struggle, we are inspired by the courage, heroism, resilience, and principles of Georgian women. That’s why we gladly accepted Safar’s proposal to work on their video “Women Defenders of Georgia.”
The video script and text were created by the creative agency “Supermarket,” and according to the script, a collage of footage depicting the fight of Georgian women was to be projected onto various moving surfaces, such as: a curtain, laundry hung out to dry, mesh stretched across a construction site, and a clear banner held in a person’s hands in front of the Parliament building.
When the main message of a video expresses your own voice too, carrying out the technical assignment becomes an engaging and exciting process. We tested the projections on site with projectors beforehand to see how the visuals would appear, and on the day of filming, we were able to accomplish the task quickly on every surface. We are proud to have contributed to this project and to have taken part in telling the story of the women defenders of Georgia in this way.
